My style is indicative of my obsession with authenticity. You couldn’t pay me to do the forced cheesy shit, because let’s be honest…neither of us would be happy with the final product. My vision for your session is to make you feel so comfortable that your images scream “you” and the emotions just jumps out of the image.

Connection and trust create all sorts of magic. By the time you have your session I want it to feel like you are just meeting up with an old time friend. I’m not “corporate” and I’m proud of that. When we go into your session with the belief that we care more about each other than the past sessions you’ve done, the difference in your images will be staggering. Connection is critical to any photography session whether it’s personal or professional, so I make that the main focus. On some level most people show up feeling awkward but by the end comment about how easy and fun it was. Getting pictures taken doesn’t have to suck and I will make it my mission to ensure that you have a damn good time.

I'm all about clients throwing rules and expectations out the window and doing things their way— because that’s how it really SHOULD be. Lets make your session feel like your own, I’m in full support and will help you every step of the way. Whatever you’re wanting documented— it’s worth being captured in a way that will bring back all the feels for years to come. You should be able to look back at these photos decades from now and have it instantaneously transport you right back into the moment. I want them to be meaningful to you. Photos should speak your truth, because that’s really what it’s about.

I want to work with people that think of photography as more than just another thing to check off the to-do list. When photography is done right, it is art that can be passed down for generations. If you’re shopping around wanting to find the cheapest sesh I’m for sure not that, nor do I want to be. I value what I do, have invested thousands of dollars and hours into my education and practice. I value myself and want to provide for my family. Could you imagine how many sessions a photographer would have to do at $200 to put food on the table or even pay their rent? You for sure wouldn’t be getting their best work; let’s be real… burn out is a thing and we’ve all felt it. I’m passionate about capturing clients who believe in the value of meaningful, authentic photographs that will last a lifetime.

My work is unique and cohesive but I don’t stick to one specific style or your images would look like a copy of all my other sessions. I make sure that the way I interact, shoot, and edit is reflective of who you are, not what I want you to be for my social media feed. The way I shoot your session is tailored to your specific situation and goals. I promise to focus on quality over quantity and won’t ever run your session through an AI editing software that erases the human aspect of your session, this way we can create something together you’ll love forever.

I only take on a few sessions per month. I do this because I’ve been on the opposite end of the spectrum, shooting way too much, and I hated it. It’s not fair to my clients if I’m overbooking because, in the end, they won’t be getting my best work.

I have quite a bit of knowledge when it comes to the details. I handle getting permits, how to make the most out of your day, create memories, plan, prepare, and all kinds of other info on how to get ready for your session. I’m happy to help in any big or little way that I can to make sure this is a stress-free and memorable experience!
